U.S. VETS –Prescott has been serving vulnerable and homeless veterans
in Northern AZ since 2003.
Their mission: The successful transition of military veterans and their families through the provision of housing, counseling, career development and comprehensive support.
Program Support: Transitional, Permanent Housing, Career Development, Onsite Clinic, Culinary Skills Training (13 weeks), Veteran Resource Center, Full-Service Career Center, Veteran Connection Hub, Employment Assistance, Case management, counseling, transportation & computer lab. Life skill classes (art, sobriety support, hiking, writing motivation, meditation) Computer Basics, Self Esteem, Stress Management, Self-Responsibility, Money Management and Mentorships
Liberty Point: Located at 1040 Whipple St. in Prescott, Liberty Pointe opened its doors to our veterans in January 2020. In this therapeutic community setting, we provide underserved veterans with the services and resources they need to regain their dignity and build better futures for themselves-including transitional and permanent housing, mental health counseling, substance use treatment, job training, case management and meals.
